Fall Clean-Up and Planting Day

posted Oct 25, 2018, 10:31 AM by Martha Owen
Saturday, October 27th, from 10-12 Noon, is our Annual Fall Gardens' Clean-up and Planting of 200 new daffodil bulbs*.  All our members are urged to turn out.  Many hands always make this a quick job.  And this year, for the first time, we are inviting others of all ages from the Town to check in with Cosette and Caroline at Junction Park that morning to see how to help.  Of course, everyone brings equipment: a shovel, rake, trowel, and the essential garden gloves!  We hope to help others see that this group not only makes West Concord look lovely, but that the work - done in energetic groups - is fun.

* Oh, and the rain date is Sunday, October 28th, 10 -12 noon, again starting at Junction Park (next to the West Concord Depot).
