The weatherman cooperated yesterday, and members of the West Concord Green Thumbs finished putting West Concord public gardens to bed. The following members divided into three groups to get Mandrioli Park, the Crest Street “triangle” and the Fowler Library all ready for winter: Helene C., new member Linda K., Alice L., Caroline M., Darlene G., Marilyn A., Kathy K., Carol M., Claire G., Gail K. and yours truly. After finishing up these gardens, a number of folks headed to Kenny Dunn Square to take care of that garden. Finally, a few “hardy” souls adjourned to Concord Teacakes!

Many thanks for this wonderful effort. We also should note that during the cleanup we all received wonderful comments and thanks from passers-by---our efforts are noticed and appreciated. Now we just have to look forward to next spring.
